The Four Seasons Whistler, nestled at the base of the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort, is a place where nature and architecture meet in quiet harmony. Surrounded by towering evergreens, this phased renovation of the public spaces and spa seeks to redefine the relationship between modern design and the alpine landscape.

At the heart of the project is the creation of a new Library, Spa and adjacent outdoor spaces, designed to enhance the property’s intimate connection with the mountains. Here, each element of the design is purposefully curated to invite a sense of calm, reinforcing the quiet majesty of the natural world just outside. Drawing inspiration from the rugged terrain of Whistler – its rocks, its runs, its vast, open landscapes – the spa takes on a cooler, more minimalist aesthetic.

The intention is to offer a refreshing contrast to the warmth of the lodge, creating a balanced, nourishing experience that mirrors the restorative qualities of the surrounding environment.
