As the creative force behind one-of-a-kind artworks commissioned around the globe, Moss & Lam sought a studio space that would emphasize the skill and imagination inherent in their work. Transforming what was once a 12,000 sq. ft. print storage warehouse, ACDO envisioned this space as perfectly balanced between practicality and poetry, providing the optimal conditions for work, yet also an open space to inspire. The spatial planning was also developed to encourage artists and designers to share ideas – a sense of expansiveness was deliberately fostered within the space, for a layout that would be conducive to the creative process. Skylights above supply soft and natural lighting, while polished concrete flooring and birch-plywood paneling serve as a canvas for Moss & Lam creations, both old and new.
