Divided into three rooms, this high-traffic store in Hong Kong’s Harbour City Shopping Centre captures the feel and flow of a store beyond its size. A long rectangular gallery serves as a primary retail floor, providing an immersive shopping experience enhanced by narrow grey oak walls, bespoke wooden shelving and oak flooring. Next door, a smaller anteroom acts as the point-of-sale: a monolithic white marble counter is highlighted by the surrounded bright white space, and serves as a beacon to outside shoppers. These starkly contrasted, but complementary spaces keep shoppers moving fluidly between the store’s entrances, encouraging them to explore.
